Warehouse Associate II - Packing Technician

Pay rate: $17

1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm (Monday - Friday)

Job Overview:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years of Packaging and shipping experience / Warehouse
• Forklift experience preferred.
• PC skills to maintain records ISO,GMP
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must understand and be able to convert measurement units from English to Metric and metric to English. Must have ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent to draw and interpret graphs (bar, line, pie, etc…).
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to develop and carry out instructions furnished in writing, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions.
• Computer literacy- especially with Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP)
• Be part of an efficient production team
• Must be able to communicate effectively throughout the organization.
• Cold conditions environment on occasion

• Prepares product for packaging to required specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Primary and assistant in all packaging efforts to attain shipping objectives. Assists in shipping activities as needed.

1. Prepares boxes for packing2. Print box labels as customer requirements3. Pack rolls as specified on the Manufacturing Specification Sheet4. Perform densitometer measuring5. Must maintain accurate scrap and productivity documentation6. Ensures acquisitions of required supplies7. Maintains thorough knowledge of all products in department (cores plugs, backings, bags, boxes, tapes etc...).

• Maintains work area organization and documentation to satisfy ISO and GMP standards.
• Prepares product for packaging and delivery i.e.: packaging, carton labels, Assists in dry ice, shrink-wrap, and thermal wrap (as needed).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 per hour
