Warehouse Supervisor Job at Kuehne+Nagel

Your Role
You will manage daily warehouse activities. Under the direction of the General Manager, you will manage receiving, picking/packing, and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost. This is onsite role and you will report to Operations Manager. Shift Time - 12pm - 9am (3rd Shift)Your Responsibilities
- You will manage unloading of inbound shipments.
- You will develop, implement and direct programs to promote a safety culture on site and to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property is a priority.
- You will do staff planning daily/weekly and communicate with the workforce on shift briefs daily.
- You will be responsible for Conflict resolutions and resolving customer shipping and receiving issues.
- You will manage picking and staging of outbound shipments following the high possible levels of quality and productivity.
- You will verify required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers to ensure that all product is counted and free of damage.
- You will promote and manage Continuous Improvement process to create ideas and projects.
- You will ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
- Navigate around the local WMS (SAP) to ensure transactions and processes are completed following customer and Kuehne+Nagel requirements.
- You will maintain product locator system, and maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
- Conduct operations following OSHA and MSDS standards.
- Assure the integrity of the inventory and help conduct physical inventories.
Your Skills and Experiences
- High School, High School Equivalent or Technical degree.
- Three (3) years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook).
- Experience in SAP.
- Prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with material handling equipment.
