Warehouse/driver Job at BIRCHWOOD FOODS
We are looking to a Line Driver to join our team in Columbus, Ohio on second shift!
Our Line Driver's typical job duties include but are not limited to:
- Moving, positioning, or parking trucks and trailers in lot or docks
- Swapping and moving trailers as required
- Maintaining a neat and orderly storage lot oriented toward maximizing efficiency in servicing the plant needs
- Set and checking temperatures on trailers
- Reporting any new damages on equipment
- Maintain trailer inventories
- Assist washing trailers when needed
- Fuel trailers when needed
- Communicate with management effectively
- retrieving goods from the warehouse via the box truck to supply production.
- Break or vacation relief for the production finished goods haulers.
- Remove and track all finished goods from the production lines via computer and bar code scanner
- Retrieve goods from dry storage as needed for production
- Able to fill in for the 2nd shift S&R position if needed (responsibilities above)
- Move other goods as directed by supervision
- Report issues with equipment to management
Requirements for Line Driver include:
- Forklift and pallet jack licensed
- Ability to lift over 60 lbs. on occasion
