Warehouse Associate- Meridian, MS
Tri-State Truck Center, Inc. has an opportunity available for a highly motivated Warehouse Associate to join our family at the Meridian, MS location. The candidate must be energetic, detailed oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast pace environment. Must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work extended days on a frequent basis.
- Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted.
- Committed to providing customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
- Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects.
- Ability to preserve the confidentiality of information.
- Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees the daily workflow of warehouse operations by maintaining a clean and safe work environment while being compliant with OSHA and Company Safety Guidelines.
- Receives, documents, and stores inbound shipments from branches, outside vendors, or factories.
- Locates and ships parts from branch inventory and prepares shipments to customers.
- Maintains up-to-date documentation relating to parts and accessories while continually monitoring inventory levels.
- Assist with scheduling part deliveries and pick-ups.
- Various other tasks as assigned.
- Supports annual physical inventories; reconciles all variances.
- Process and track core returns.
