Warehouse Assistant Job at The Cary Company
The Cary Company is seeking a candidate to assist our Warehouse team in Oakland, CA. The hours for this role are M-F 6:00a-2:30p.
Duties:
- Use innovation and creativity in developing new processes and procedures
- Interface with couriers, office personnel and management in response to requests or to ensure service commitments are met
- Updating excel files for parts used
- Receiving PO’s
- SDS Control updates
- Assist with monthly safety audits
- Answering phones
- Checking in drivers
- Counting inventory and making adjustments
Requirements:
- Successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Show strong follow-up skills, attention to detail, and time management
- Be self-directed and detail-oriented with an inquisitive nature and desire to solve problems
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge about logistics and warehousing
