Purpose:
This position will be accountable for building/implementing a comprehensive Omnichannel Retail (eCommerce and Retail) vision and strategy that will deliver profitable above-market growth with full P&L responsibility. It is critical the incumbent drive a digital-first mentality and develop eCommerce capabilities and competence across the enterprise to enable DFC to connect physical and digital experiences to optimize growth. This role is responsible for driving a consistent, coordinated experience between in store and online crafted to improve the decision maker purchase journey, drive advocacy and purchase of DFC brands. The incumbent will be an integral part of the product development roadmap process, making trade-off decisions to ensure company stretch goals are achieved. The role is accountable for advancing the company’s vision and strategy and working across channels and functions to achieve breakthrough performance.
Responsibilities:
Overall
- Accountable for strategic leadership of both the retail and online business to deliver profitable, above market growth
- Oversees the Kraus team as a business within a business to establish both short-term and long-term objectives that align to Delta Faucet Company’s overall strategy
- Embeds a digital first mentality throughout the company to drive data-based decision making
- Champions clear communication and coordination across the organization to deliver significant outcomes
- Functions as a coach, providing regular feedback to the team, and develops top talent for future leadership roles
Sales
- Identify and cultivate areas of new business within the channel while assessing the impact on other channels.
- Lead and coordinate sales and channel teams to enhance customer satisfaction, sales volume, market penetration and growth.
- Lead and participate in sales presentations, negotiations, and sales meetings with key external and internal industry partners. Initiate, strengthen and grow direct relationships with major customers in channel.
- Conducts P&L and important metric reviews with the senior team to identify growth and opportunities for improvement.
Channel
- Coordinates development/execution of channel and digital marketing strategy.
- Works collaboratively with the marketing and brand team to ensure consistency in brand experience across touchpoints.
Product Input and Development
- Provides input into the product roadmap based on data, analytics and customer/consumer insights aligned to support channel growth targets.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related area; Masters preferred
- 10+ years of relevant business leadership experience and at least 5+ years of experience leading high-performing eCommerce and retail teams
- Significant experience in eCommerce sales, operations, leadership and direct budget with P&L responsibility
- Shown success developing new profitable business with retailers both in store and online
- Proven history in defining and implementing digital experiences
- Extensive experience in strategic planning, data analysis, channel management, sales and eCommerce marketing, and change leadership.
- Confirmed ability to affect positive change through organizational alignment in a highly matrixed environment is required, including experience leading a cross-functional team with and without direct reporting accountability.
- This person must possess highly developed communication competences with the ability to connect and influence at all levels of the organization and with external partners and customers.
- Must be influential with customer decision makers and positively represent DFC’s interests while aligning DFCs goals with channel partners.
- Must be a creative problem-solver and be able to challenge the status quo to drive action.
- Evidenced leadership and team management skills derived from having direct responsibility for building and leading a cohesive, impactful team
- Candidate must have keen intuition for business plus the capability to function as a senior strategist with key members of the executive management team
- Travel up to 25% is required.
