Responsibilities
Nevada Power Company d/b/a NV Energy has an opening for a Sr. Voice Systems Engineer in Las Vegas, NV 89118 (Remote/telecommuting benefits available -Must live within the Metropolitan Statistical Area of worksite address) 40 Hours per week. Duties are to Perform design, analysis, implementation, and maintenance services associated with the Genesys Contact Center System. Install, configure, and maintain all Genesys call center software applications. Create system specifications, develop tests, implement interactive voice response, routing and desktop applications. Evaluate voice telephony, unified communication and contact center software packages and provide recommendations to management and business clients. Identify future needs for key technologies and/or techniques and evaluate these technologies for adoption. Act as a lead and/or technical resource. Requires a Bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 5 years experience with implementation, deployment, and support of telephony and contact center telephony applications, systems and services in a mission-critical, production environment. Special requirements: 5 years of experience with common telephony architectures, call routing strategies and contact center services. 5 years of experience with application of more than one of the following call center technologies: Genesys call routing, SIP Server, GVP, Resource Manager, ICON/lnfomart reporting infrastructure, CTI desktop integration, IWS/IWD, workforce management, quality assurance, call recording systems, call analytics, or IP PBX integration. 5 years of experience with call center application support and change deployment topologies (i.e. ensuring secure, highly available systems). 5 years of Interactive voice ) response (IVR), automatic call distribution (ACD) and computer telephony integration (CTI technologies. 5 years of experience in telecommunication circuits and services, including carrier routing, PRI, SIP trunking. 5 years experience troubleshooting issues around Genesys configuration/management layers, routing layers, Genesys Voice Portal, SIP Server, Media Server, Session Border Controller, and/or ICON/InfoMart.
