Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate leadership opportunity for a Vice President of Construction to join our team in Phoenix ! This construction executive is responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the regional construction team, while meeting customer service goals and ensuring best practices of integrated project delivery.

This leader will collaborate with the Regional President to generate new Ryan development projects and third-party construction projects while providing focus on strategic sectors representing approximately 70% of annual volume. These sectors of focus include corporate build-to-suit; retail; specialized industrial; healthcare; and senior living, with individual project sizes range from $1M to $100M+.

The position reports to the Region President and Senior Vice President of Operations for the Division, partners with other operations leaders on best practices and business development leaders to win work, and supervises all construction project management and field operations for the Southwest region.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of successful commercial project management experience at a senior level in a design-build or negotiated construction environment. Must have experience in leading construction operations, business development, estimating, and/or field management in multiple geographic locations. A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, real estate management, or a related field is required. An advanced degree is preferred. This person must also display excellent written and verbal communication skills, listening skills, and natural leadership qualities and presence.
