Veterinary Technician: Diagnostic Imaging Job at VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center
VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician for our Diagnostic Imaging Service.
Imaging Service:
Our Diagnostic Imaging Team works together with all services to provide the most advanced care possible for every patient utilizing the newest diagnostic equipment and therapeutic techniques.
Our Imaging Service is comprised of Board-Certified Radiologist, RegisteredTechnicians, MRI/CT Technologist, and Veterinary Assistants. We offer a number of diagnostic imaging services, including radiographs (x-rays), ultrasound, CT scans and MRI.
Skills that our Imaging Technicians utilize, but are not limited to:
· Anesthesia monitoring
· Collecting patient histories
· Physical examinations and patient assessment
· Venipuncture/IVC placement
· Performing laboratory work
· Advanced Imaging
· Patient recovery
· Work collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
Requirements:
- Licensed Veterinary Technician- CVT, LVT, RVT, VTS
- 2 + years of Anesthesia experience
- Must be interested in learning CT, ultrasound, and MRI
Compensation: $23 – 27 / hr
Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.
