The ideal veterinary technician candidate will have at least two years of prior experience as a Veterinary Technician and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a passion for animals. Requirements:

Candidates Must Be Able to Meet the Requirements Described Below:

• Possess excellent customer services skills in-person and on the telephone
• Be efficient, courteous, polite, and helpful to all clients under all conditions and at all times
• Adhere to all expectations outlined in our General Policies Standards
• Experience in eVetPractice software preferred, yet not required
• Be a team-player in all aspects of our practice operations
• Able to place an IV catheter and perform jugular blood draws
• Have the ability to work in the capacity of surgical tech with anesthesia experience
• Able to clean surgical instruments under sanitary protocols and operate an autoclave
• Technical experience with pet dental cleaning and polishing
• Able to assist with both digital radiographs and digital dental X-rays
• Provide technical assistance/prepping reference laboratory samples
• Support veterinarians while in the examination room with clients
• Assist with all aspects of veterinarian-directed care in our treatment areas including wound care, bandaging, nail trims, anal gland expressions, ear cleaning, and post-operative follow-up care
• Must be able to clearly communicate doctor’s directives with clients
• Able to speak with clients regarding pre and post-surgical instructions, patient discharges and follow-ups.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

*Hourly wages differ based on experience! In addition, we offer profit sharing to give you constant bonuses for all the hard work you put in.
