Title: Value-Based Care Training Specialist MA

POSITION SUMMARY: The candidate will help lead day-to-day operational aspects of our value-based programs with an emphasis on enhancing effectiveness through performance improvement. The role will serve and support the organization’s vision for value-based care programming through continuous on-site training and education across all MSPB primary care offices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

After a period of education/training in value-based care, you will be part of a team that is responsible for replicating best practices that align with a value-based model that include the following:

• Education and awareness on site and at every level, of the meaning and significance of value-based care
• Help with restructuring the office for a more efficient workflow
• Assist on site with optimizing documentation and reporting of MRA diagnoses, with special focus on new practices
• Assist on site with achieving STARS Metrics
• Assist in completing transitional care management contact protocol within 24 hours

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Certified or registered MA, or 3 years of MA experience, preferably in a primary care office, or 1 year of experience in primary care/value-based care practice

· Experience with operations of electronic health systems and records, preferably Athena EMR system

· Strong interpersonal skills
