Bestway South—a building-products manufacturer/distributor located in Stony Point, NC—is in need of a CDL-A Truck Driver with flat-bed experience. Drivers will be home nightly.
Responsibilities of a CDL A Truck Driver:
- Safe operation of company tractor and flatbed
- Delivery throughout the Southeast market, or other areas as needed.
- Professional, timely delivery of product to customers
- Maintaining truck cleanliness and a positive company image
- Compliance with all Federal and State regulations
- Performance of vehicle safety inspections
- Adherence to ELD rules and regulations
- Staying current on company training
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications of a CDL A Driver
- Candidates must be willing to work overtime, especially during the busy late-spring to early fall seasons, but drivers are generally home nightly.
- Flat-bed experience is mandatory
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Clean Driving Record.
- Candidates must have a valid CDL-A driver’s license, and pass a pre-employment drug test
- ALL levels of experience will be considered—including entry level—but experience is preferred.
