Position Title: Manager – Treasury FX and Capital Markets

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) or Norwalk, CT (Hybrid)

Reports to: Senior Director, Treasury

Newell Brands is seeking a motivated professional to join the foreign exchange and capital markets team. The team is the group within global treasury that ensures the company manages currency exposure, capital planning strategy, debt, liquidity and rating agency relationships. The position will be a Hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Senior Manager in managing and executing global balance sheet and cash flow foreign exchange hedging programs which includes exposure forecast consolidation, analysis, recommendation, and trading
• Assist in aggregation, recommendation, and execution of weekly foreign exchange spot trading activity
• Partner with tax and legal areas to advise on exposures created by acquisitions, divestitures, tax restructurings and intercompany loans
• Preparation of monthly reporting related to foreign exchange including currency positions, fair market valuation, and results to management
• Process and track interest payments for all corporate debt instruments including Senior Notes, Interest Rate Swaps, Cross-Currency Swaps, Accounts Receivable Securitization Facility, Revolver, Convertible Notes
• Management of Accounts Receivable Securitization Facility including monthly model updates and managing relationship with facility administrators
• Process and track borrowing requests and payments for debt facilities and Key Accounts Program
• Collaborate with Cash Management to forecast debt and foreign exchange cash activities
• Preparation of monthly reporting related to capital market activities
• Price intercompany loans in line with policy
• Preparation of 10Q / 10K treasury support and footnote information
• Maintain and update company policy and process documents

Qualifications -

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with prior experience in management reporting
• Motivated, resourceful, and self-reliant candidates who are curious, innovative and interested in working in a fast paced and demanding work environment
• Team-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn foreign exchange and capital market areas of treasury
• Demonstrated success and proven ability to think critically, multi-task, adhere to strict guidelines, work well with others, and complete tasks with discretion, accuracy and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree required preferably Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• 2-5 years of meaningful experience at a publicly traded multinational company
• Prior experience with FireApps, Kyriba, SAP. FXAll and Bloomberg preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
