Training Specialist Job at Cenero, LLC
SUMMARY
Responsible for all internal and external Cenero training initiatives including definition, documentation, coordination and delivery of required materials and information, as designated by management
**
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Support Client Training Programs - Deliver Cenero designed training products in person and virtually to clients at the end of related projects. This includes all systems and product training required for a smooth transition between production and commissioning. Train clients, in conjunction with other personnel, per the defined scope of work.
- Training Documentation – Provide Quick Start Guides and user documentation when required for project completion.
- Education Technique - Stay up to date on accepted education principles and identify new training methods, techniques or platforms.
- Attend project kickoff meetings – when necessary
- Vendor Trainings - Function as Subject matter expert for vendor product UI updates for internal Cenero resources, Sales, engineering and service teams
- Market Programs - Market available training opportunities both internally to Cenero employees and externally to Cenero Clients, i.e. Lunch and Learns, Pre-sales opportunities, etc.
- Ongoing Development – Collaborate with training team and management to continually develop new training methodologies that help improve overall deliverables and efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.

*REQUIREMENTS*
- Proven work experience in coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
- Audiovisual experience with engineering, install, service or commissioning – certs preferred
- Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
- Familiarity with training methods and techniques, or background in education/teaching
- Strong communication skills and customer service skills
- Ability to develop effective training in Microsoft PowerPoint and/or other training technology tools
- Presentation skills to create engaging training sessions that keep participants interested and actively learning.
- Understanding of AV Technology and how it improves collaboration and communication, or experience with types of technology
- Anticipated Travel: 25% to 35% - US

*EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE*
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university in an appropriate engineering/tech field; or one-to-five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. In-depth understanding of acoustics, basic electrical wiring and control systems is required with a working knowledge of related products and test equipment. Must also have experience with the installation and use of such equipment, or experience with communication and video technology Experience dealing with customers and construction contractors.

*LANGUAGE SKILLS*
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the complex documents including product specifications, wiring diagrams, and architectural drawings. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive customer inquiries or complaints. Ability to clearly and unambiguously communicate verbally or in writing.

*REASONING ABILITY*
Excellent communication skills required. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
