Toddler Room Lead Teacher Job at Creativity Corner Preschool and Nursery
Creativity Corner Preschool and Nursery Carson City, NV 89706
This is a position for a person who is passionate about the ECE field and desires to have a long-term positive impact on the children they meet at our Center. The right candidate will be willing and able to take on classroom management and curriculum, assessing and observing children, and parent or outside organization/Center relationships. Candidate must have strong leadership and organizational skills, and be able to utilize teacher aides to accomplish tasks and objectives as needed.
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working at a childcare center.
Must be able to pass required background checks and TB test. Employee must be able to complete 24 hours of state required trainings within first 120 days.
Must have an understanding of State of Nevada Child-Care regulations and Quality Rating Improvement System.
Must have samples of curriculums/ lesson plans that meet state of Nevada standards.
Experience with special needs a plus.
Bilingual and/or ASL a plus.
There will be a paid training/probationary period of 120 days, followed by a review by management to determine if candidate is a good fit for the center.
Training/probationary pay, and any subsequent increases will be based upon experience, qualifications, and performance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.50 - $14.00 per hour
