We are seeking a Title Coordinator with excellent customer service skills and a winning attitude. The Title Coordinator handles title work in the dealership. In addition, this position is responsible for Courtesy Deliveries. This position also handles all administrative work and will also act as a backup for the accounts payable clerk in handling calls and closing service repair orders and parts tickets. Typical Hours and Days

Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and process all documents associated with customer vehicle purchases.

  • Prepare tag and title documents

  • Submit all legal transfer documents to the DMV

  • Prepare and maintain trade-in vehicle jackets

  • Ensure that name and address files are updated on an ongoing basis

  • Process all wholesale deals

  • Verify and pay off trade-ins

  • Floor and pay off vehicles

  • Assist the bank during a floor plan audit

  • Properly represent the dealership to its customers and vendors in a friendly manner

  • Complete end-of-month accounting reports - Notice of Sale and Notice of Liens

  • Assist in the completion of annual review/audit

  • Keep current with applicable laws

  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers

  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

  • Assists with accounts receivable functions

  • Tender cash and credit transactions accurately

  • May be required to drive to the county clerk, bank, or other locations to conduct business

  • Scan all paperwork associated with car deals

  • Maintain filing system for car deals

  • All other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Must be 18 or over in order to be covered by Automobile Insurance.

  • Must have a valid driver's license, pass a drug screen, and background check

  • Must have 1-year previous office experience (attach resume)

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Ability to understand mathematical concepts related to pricing and other calculations

  • Professional personal appearance

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Must have a positive, upbeat attitude, and be a team player

  • Must speak and write English fluently
