Summary & Objectives
The Assistant Community Manager is to assist the Community Manager in effectively managing the Q Community. In the property manager’s absence, the ASSISTANT MANAGER will assume all responsibilities associated with accomplishing community objectives as set forth by the property manager and the property owner. In addition, the ASSISTANT MANAGER is directly responsible for;
. Ensure efficient and courteous response to all resident requests. Assist the Property Manager in solving resident problems and on-going resident relations and enforce the terms of rental agreements and oversee rental proceedings.
Be a hands-on sales leader and provide excellent customer service and consistently meet and exceed goals with new prospects and current tenants. Lease to qualified prospects by showing available apartments when and if needed.
· Demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer service-focused attitude about the company with coworkers, tenants, and vendors.
· Coordinate collection and documentation of all revenues following lease obligations of tenants and the owner's policy on accounts receivable. Collect delinquent accounts promptly. Communicate with accounting department to ensure accuracy of rent roll and accounts receivable.
Assist with the lease renewal program with initial contact and follow-up on residents. Routinely inspect the property and maintain accurate resident records.
· Use various forms of technology, Microsoft office software, (Yardi voyager & CRM a plus), and communications styles to review tasks and perform in a timely manner.
· Responsible for the inventory and ordering necessary administrative supplies, invoices, and documentation in an appropriate and timely manner· Maintain an orderly and comprehensive key tracking system in the Yardi Management software.
What we are looking for;
- Previous property management experience is required, ‘Lease up’ experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and Yardi/CRM software a Plus
- Being financially savvy; previous experience in creating/adhering to budgets, fiscal reporting a plus
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
