Territory Sales Manager Job at Dixon Valve & Coupling Company LLC
Richmond Foundry is looking for a Territory Manager to join our team!
The Territory Manager will act as the primary company contact with the customer, develop and maintain a cooperative and mutually beneficial relationship, communicate account opportunities and objectives throughout the company and lead support activities in the Eastern U.S. region. The ideal candidate will help the company capture new growth opportunities, increase overall sales revenues and margins, and develop strong long-term relationships. Thoroughly understand the market for castings, including competitors and communicate to the company. Will be required to regularly visit customers and plan activities weekly/monthly based on need.
Responsibilities:
- Grow and maintain customer relationships
- Visit customers and promote capabilities
- Plan sales activities on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
- Document activities
- Regular reporting
Competencies:
- Excellent verbal communication skills, Proven written communication skills
- Ability to listen to and interpret customer needs and provide sales solutions
- Ability to think mechanically; mechanical aptitude
- Ability to establish and build relationships with customers
- Excellent time management skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated
- Strong computer skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office, Salesforce or similar CRM experience a plus
