TEMP -Accounting Analyst, Hybrid - Oak Ridge, NJ Job at Lakeland Bank
Position Overview:
This in a Full Time temporary assignment which could lead to a regular position at the end of the assignment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Scheduled Hours:
The Accounting Analyst will prepare and analyze internal and external financial reports, assist management with projects and regulatory reporting, prepare selected reconciliations and provide back-up assistance for various functions within the Department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports
- Prepare quarterly reports for peer group analysis
- Assist with preparation of quarterly call report
- Prepare quarterly Governmental Unit Deposit Protection Act Report
- Perform Prologue report writing as needed
- Prepare monthly Liquidity and Contingency Funding Report
- Assist with preparation of quarterly investor presentations
- Function as a general ledger specialist
- Prepare general ledger entries for approval as necessary
- Perform selected monthly reconciliations, including REIT and Tammac
- Perform weekly accounts payable vendor maintenance and check processing
- Maintain files for quarterly ALCO, Farin and FTP models
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in a specialized field such as accounting or finance.
- 2 years of related experience
- Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills, to include v-lookups, pivot tables and formulas
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Intermediate accounting, database and MS Word skills
- Willingness and ability to learn Prologue software
- Experience working with general ledgers
- Must be Bondable
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of related experience
- Experience working for a financial institution
- Strong working knowledge of Prologue software

8:30AM-5:00PM Overtime as needed
This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule, two days onsite in Oak Ridge, NJ
