Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a full-time Media Productions teacher at Palmer Ridge High School beginning with the 2023-24 school year. Must have, or obtain within the 2023-2024 school year, a CTE Endorsement in Media Productions. Teaching schedule will include Video Production, PRTV studio, Adobe courses.
The start date for teachers new to the District is August 3, 2023, and the start date for students is August 15, 2023. In order to be considered for this position, you must complete our online teacher application. Position is open until filled.
Exact placement on the pay schedule can only be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 15 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 16, per school board policy. This pay range is based on education and experience levels. The current teacher pay schedule can be found on our website. Applications will be reviewed as they are received. This position will remain open until filled.
Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and a life insurance. Lewis-Palmer does provide one plan that is of no cost to the individual. However, employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans. All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA. Paid leave is accrued in accordance with District policies and afforded to all persons in accordance with Colorado law.
