Responsibilities

• Interact cordially and respectfully with ALL Team-Mates toward producing dynamic and accurate work for our clients
• Prepare your own OR Support others producing financial statements
• Complete or support the company and client month process
• Prepare and review federal and state returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, and trusts
• Represent the company culture and your Team Mates when communication with outside vendors and clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting (an Associates Degree with 2 years experience will be considered) No Degree BUT have 15yrs of proven experience? Let’s talk anyway
• 2+ years' experience in public accounting or tax preparation
• We must include it SERIOUS working experience with the Microsoft Office suite or equivalent
• Comprehensive tax compliance and strategy experience (tax or accounting)
• Knowledgable and conversant of individual, partnership, corporate, trust and estate tax services
• Multi-state experience a plus
• Strong commitment to excellence - REMEMBER… we are a team and EVERYONE helps each other to suceed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Not all of clients are versed with SMS shorthand and emoji's
• Effective at multitasking, organized, and detail oriented - have to be able to walk, chew gum, talk, text and email
• Disciplined to work with minimal supervision — we don't babysit!
• Ability to work remotely when needed AND STILL get the job done - face it… sometimes we just dont feel like getting dressed and driving in
• Have your own computer speakers or headphones — your office, your music, keep it in there… UNLESS its a great song
