Talent Acquisition Specialist Job at The Kleingers Group, Inc.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will strategize, execute, and coordinate the recruitment and hiring of all staff in the company.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with departments to identify project needs and desired qualifications for staff.
- Plans and implements recruiting programs based on qualifications and job descriptions for anticipated vacancies and needs for the department and the company.
- Coordinates and executes the college recruiting program and co-op/intern hiring process.
- Establishes an internal recruiting process.
- Drafts and publicizes recruitment efforts in appropriate and relevant places that may include online sources such as LinkedIn, Handshake, and educational and professional journals and publications.
- Manages correspondence and relationships with college placement officers, engineering professors, third-party recruiters, and professional employment services.
- Coordinates, and in some cases, attends engineering and applicable college job fairs.
- Reviews resumes, verifies academic records and previous work experience, and conducts interviews or identifies the appropriate staff or agency to conduct these tasks.
- Trains identified staff on appropriate interview techniques.
- Schedules and arranges for promising candidates to visit the company and interview with identified staff.
- Provides salary range guidance based on current, competitive compensation levels in the area.
- Maintains contacts in the engineering community through active participation and membership in professional societies.
- Stays current on recruiting trends and new concepts, and apply them as necessary to recruiting strategy.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with college officials and others in related communities.
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software program.
- Proficient in an applicant tracking system (ATS) and job posting software.
- Ability to create effective recruitment materials in a variety of formats.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant background, which may include engineering or human resources, business administration, or similar disciplines, required.
- At least three years of experience in recruiting for an architectural, engineering, or construction (AEC) firm required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to travel as needed on various recruiting assignments.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
