NorthStar is looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager with the passion and experience to take our talent acquisition function to the next level. This role will lead our internal recruitment team and will be responsible for building and executing the talent acquisition roadmap for the company. We are looking for someone who is adept at building relationships and excited to spend time in the field learning about our locations, attending industry events, and helping our managers build talent pipelines. A successful candidate will have a strong process orientation and experience leveraging technology to drive, measure, and continually improve our sourcing strategies and recruitment outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include:
  • Manages and develops the internal recruiting team and consults and trains hiring managers on recruitment best practices.
  • Drives employment branding activities, including continuous social media campaigns.
  • Develops and implements sourcing strategies at both the company and location level.
  • Produces and analyzes recruitment metrics.
  • Manages external partners such as job boards, ATS partners, and job aggregators.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of college recruitment and internship programs.

This is a hybrid role with the expectation of time spent in the home office in Houston, in the field, and remote.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Competencies:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, MS office and HR or recruitment technology
Minimum Requirements & Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with 3 or more in a management role
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the sourcing and hiring processes
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems
Preferred Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Industry experience
  • Experience with iCIMS as an applicant tracking system
Travel
  • 25%
