SUMMARY

Under the guidance of the Quality Manager, provides support and direction in the implementation and administration of quality systems. Analyze the effectiveness of the quality system and coordinate quality related issues with customers, suppliers, and other functional disciplines.

• Review and maintain all assigned customer quality documents and specifications.
• Maintain internal document management including revision, reviews and distribution of internal procedures.
• Participate in the development and implementation of quality related policies and procedures based on corporate and government/customer requirements, as well as in conjunction with AS9100 requirements.
• Manage Calibration Process including tool/gage inventory, recall list, calibration database, certification review and calibration vendor management.
• Make recommendations to management on the implementation of process improvements on assigned program(s) or product area(s).
• Participate as assigned on Process improvement Teams or other Continuous Improvement Groups.
• Manage Approved Vendor Log and supplier performance evaluations.
• Prepare periodic and special reports on quality statistics and other related quality issues on assigned program(s) or product area(s).
• Review and complete Customer Quality Surveys
• Respond to customer Corrective Action Request in a timely manner, by investigating and determining root cause and corrective/preventive measures to eliminate deficiencies. Coordinate team efforts to resolve issues and monitor trends.
• Initiate Corrective Action Requests and monitors follow-up for effective closure and elimination of identified deficiencies.
• Perform monthly trending data for key processes (i.e TUS, pyrometers, etc)
• Conduct training as required on various Quality topics and methods.
• Performs other tasks as required.
  

Salary Range: $64,500-$70,000

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or equivalent; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education of education and experience.
• Three to five years’ experience in Product/Manufacturing and Quality is preferred.
• Certificate from Quality Institution preferred, such as CQE, CQA.
• Minimum of one year working in a office/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suites and scanning software.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Office machines such as copiers and scanners.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
