Essential functions and responsibilities
- Teach swimming techniques, swimming strokes, and water safety to adults and adolescents.
- Coaching more experienced swimmers to enhance their swimming abilities.
- Assessing the progress of swimmers.
- Design practices to meet individuals goals.
- Monitoring swimmers to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Ensuring that the swimming pool is clean and tidy.
Job requirements
- Previous swim coach experience
- Triathlon coaching experince preffered
- Current Life Guard Certification Preferred
- CPR/First Aid certified within 90 days of employment
- Sound knowledge of competitive swimming techniques and water safety.
Location: Rush Copley Medical Center · Healthplex Aquatics
Schedule: Non-Benefited Part-Time, Various, 5:00am-6:00am, 10:00am-11:00am, or 5:00pm-8:00pm M-F, Sa/Su 7:00am-8:00am or 3:00pm-4:00pm
