The Account Partner is a key contributor within the Middle Market Revenue function. The Account Partner is the lead point of contact for assigned channel partners dedicated to satisfying, retaining, and growing Surest's customer base. This role is part of a dedicated team responsible for building outstanding relationships with channel partners and achieving overall customer retention results year over year.
If you are located in the states of AZ, CA, WA, and Southeast US, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, establish and foster solid working relationships with assigned channel partners
Upon sale notification, work closely with channel partner to gain understanding of customer needs, structure and path to success
During customer onboarding process, monitor implementation progress reports to ensure “go live” readiness
Lead channel partner engagements including managing overall service experience delivery, book of business retention and growth strategy, product enhancements and member engagement communication plans
Interact, collaborate, and continuously educate channel partners on the Surest solution
Demonstrate balance in enabling the channel partner for success while protecting the Surest platform
Serve as the Surest subject matter expert consultant to support the channel partner in understanding customers’ business challenges, health benefits strategy, industry trends and advise on how Surest can help them achieve their objective
Deliver the annual enrollment strategy, including digital assets and participate in member recruitment activities as subscribed
Monitor the service model performance and details, identifying and resolving issues and prioritizing and delivering on improvements and / or engagement recommendations
Understand key market and regulatory dynamics of the health insurance industry

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
5+ years of customer facing, relationship management experience in the health insurance and / or health and benefits space
Ability to travel 10% on average and up to 20% during peak times to visit channel partners, attend critical industry meetings, and participate in key customer events

Preferred Qualification:
Associate’s Degree (or higher) with 5+ years of working experience
Soft Skills:
Demonstrated track record of creating, coaching, and maintaining relationships across B2B and B2C audiences while executing on key objectives and results
Ability to set realistic goals, manage expectations and prioritize needs of competing interests of both internal and external partners
Manage high volume of details with precision and excellence in short and inflexible timeframes
