The Logistician will provide Product and Program support to the LCS Program specifically focusing on Diminishing Manufacturing Shortages and Material Shortages (DMSMS) at NSWC Port Hueneme Division. The successful candidate will become a part of a very dynamic, fast-paced team that requires flexibility in tasking to rapidly respond to fleet requirements. Specific duties and responsibilities include:

• Perform market research for life cycle status of parts.
• Provide program support with data gathering and analysis that support program deliverables
• Coordinate weekly/monthly program meetings
• Update DMSMS status in the various program databases
• Maintain DMSMS case files and notes

Required Skills:

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn quickly and perform in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to evolving customer requirements and produce positive results.
• Ability to obtain a valid U.S. government secret clearance.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with DMSMS and supplier/supply chain management.
• Current U.S. government secret clearance.
• Experience with JIRA and/or WIKI
