We are hiring for a leading medical device manufacturer.
Duration : 6 Months (Extendable)
Job Description
- Reports to Planning Manager with primary responsibilities including placing and expediting orders for raw material and semi-finished inventory. Plans to support the master production schedule. Production Planners, Procurement, Suppliers, and others to maximize labor & material utilization.
- Coordinates inventory management activities and provides support to the Buyers within the group with buying, planning, and reporting tasks. Analytical, and numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and accuracy.
Major Job Duties:
- Establishes and maintains production material inventory and purchase plan to support master schedule.
- Ensures availability of purchased materials necessary to support the production plan while maintaining the inventory within budgeted limits.
- Executes purchase orders and changes to achieve optimum delivery of materials in economic lots.
- Maintains the current status of all raw materials and purchased component shortages that affect or will affect the assigned production lines.
- Review and maintain the accuracy of delivery dates for purchase orders with suppliers.
- Backup and support Buyers within the group with assigned tasks

- Reconcile invoices and take action to pay suppliers on a timely basis
Responsibility level:
- Exercises minimal independent judgment with direction from supervisor. Skill so Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills (Required).
- Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals and other technical data (Required).
- Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information (Required).
- Ability to predict consumer buying patterns (Typically required).
- Should be highly skilled in Microsoft Office suite and experience in SAP is preferred.
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Salary: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
