Haerter Stamping, LLC is a rapidly growing, international supplier of high-precision stamping, molding, tooling, and assemblies. We are looking to hire experienced 2nd Shift Stamping Press Operators with a minimum of 3 years’ experience running automatic stamping presses.

2nd Shift Hours (either 8 or 10 hour shifts): Monday through Friday - 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm or 3:00 pm - 1:00 am

The stamping press operator position requires experience in progressive dies, die-setting, precision manufacturing, reading blueprints, fast-running dies, coil handling equipment, and parts inspection. Minster, Bruderer, Seyi, and/or Kaiser press experience is an added bonus. This position is additionally responsible for performing change overs, loading coils, assisting in setting tools, quality checks, and production paperwork.

Objective of Position:

Manufacture product utilizing stamping press equipment. Follow all procedures and work instructions, achieve optimal productivity, quality, and safety assuring internal and external customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive attitude and a teamwork mentality.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in progressive dies, die-setting, precision manufacturing, fast-running dies, coil handling equipment, and parts inspection is preferred
• Perform change overs, load coils, assist in setting tools, quality checks, and production paperwork
• Knowledge of production procedures
• Excellent attendance
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work and communicate well with others
• Operate/monitor equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops

Responsibilities:

• Tend to one or more presses and associated equipment
• Follow company safety, quality, and production requirements
• Assist with set-up as needed
• Monitor output for quality, immediately informing management and quality of any discrepancies to established quality guidelines
• Maintain equipment on an ongoing basis, informing supervisor and maintenance of any major issues
• Enter data into m-station
• Ability to maintain work output in a fast-paced work environment
• Spend the majority of work shift standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, and reaching
• Routinely lift, carry, push, and pull
• Working towards the defined quality goals
• Responsible for compliance and observation of all applicable statutory provisions in intra-company policies
• Complies with and implements workplace protection/accident prevention and safety provision requirements
• Protects the confidentiality, safeguards the non-disclosure of data and customer information
• Responsible for order, cleanliness, and workplace safety
• Ensures the efficient use of raw materials, additives, and operating resources, resulting in a small environmental footprint
• CIP: Optimization and further development of processes and workflows
• Self-accountable taking of action and approach to work
• Diligent handling of all operating resources
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
