Title: Sr. Software Engineer
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Duration: 12 months w/possibility for extension
Status: Must be a U.S Citizen or Green Card Holder to Qualify
Overview
The Software Engineer is responsible for developing a set of IMA Software Applications related to the control of air vehicle components
Position Responsibilities
- Development of air vehicle IMA Software Applications
- Development of High level and Low-Level Requirements
- SysML modeling of software design
- Perform Configuration Management for developed software
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required. Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Other Engineering degrees may be considered with applicable experience.
Position Requirements
- Experience in developing embedded software, including hardware and software integration is required.
- Requires C or C++ experience in a Linux development environment
- Requires familiarity with software DevOps processes.
- Requires experience with Git version control system or change management systems.
- Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and work assignments
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams.
