You are responsible for

Contribute to Philips mission to Accelerate Patient Safety and Quality through implementing strategic operational and transformational initiatives within the Market Quality team. The primary focus of this role is the driver of compliance in product market holds to ensure timely segregation and dispositioning of non-conforming product. Additionally, this role will support a wide variety of activities within the Market framework, serving as a quality partner supporting the Service and Commercial Operations teams. This role will influence and shape quality processes that impact customer experience and compliance with applicable Regulations and Standards.

You are responsible to

  • Lead Market Product Holds by driving communication across the market, ensuring actions are completed within defined timelines, and leadership is updated with progress.
  • Investigate process issues raised by service and operations, providing Quality guidance and subject matter expertise, and ensuring compliance with applicable Regulations and Standards.
  • Support deployment of Philips Excellence Process Framework procedures and Philips Integrated Landscape (PIL) tool changes.
  • Own and drive quality initiatives such as Quality Transition plans supporting transformation initiatives, process improvements, identified threats and vulnerabilities, and the like.
  • Support service and operations CAPAs as Quality subject matter expert, ensuring adherence to global and local regulatory requirements and standards, and to Philips policies and procedures; updating management with progress.
  • Lead initiatives to improve complaint intake content quality, partnering with service, Customer Call Center, and addressing Business needs.
  • Manage escalations from Service and Operations teams, bringing together required stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support quality initiatives ranging from complaint intake content quality, to support for integrations or other system-wide changes, to process improvements.
  • Support Intake process by implementing and managing trending of Complaint Investigator inquiries on Service Cases to drive LEAN and First Time Right complaint evaluation.
  • Leverage Philips’ Excellence tools, such as PRIDE problem solving and Daily Management activities.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality and regulatory environment focused on 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485; experience in Post Market Surveillance preferred.
  • Experience managing initiatives from conception to completion.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate and influence others.
  • Experience in packaging information into a professional, organized method to drive informed decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply regulation to diverse scenarios.
