POSITION SUMMARY:
Oversee planning, reporting, quota setting and management, process optimization, job design, and training for the sales department. Work closely with sales leadership to establish sales competencies to ensure the attainment of skills, knowledge, tools, and processes required to be successful. Coordinate sales forecasting, metrics development, and strategic planning. Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Takes ownership of business needs associated with the contracts, driving collaboration to ensure activity alignment to goals and issue resolution

Track/Monitor and report key performance metrics to OEM AEs on risks, issues, milestones, key activities and events. Provides a dashboard to support individual AEs.

Using technical expertise, act as key contact for plant specific account requests. Provides technical interface between the OEM AEs and operations personnel while helping to drive customer focus mindset

Takes an active role in the S&OP process to support predictability of delivery – providing early problem identification and solutions as well as back end problem solving

Ensure all project related goals for regulatory, compliance, quality and operations are met

Responsible for the efficient allocation of technology, support, and training resources impacting the sales organization.

Implement technologies to monitor the sales organization through sales reports and other intelligence.

Remain aware of competitive landscape to establish accurate sales metrics.

Proactively monitor sales organization efforts and identify opportunities for sales process improvements.

E DUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor of Science or Art in related field required

Advance degree preferred

2-5 years of experience leading a team

5+ years of relevant work experience

Broad knowledge of the field with proven leadership skills.
Physical Requirements:
Light work: Physically handle objects up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
