The AWS Mainframe Modernization service offers our customers a wide range of tools and powers the mainframe migration patterns of replatform, refactor and data augmentation. The service also bundles methodologies, consulting services, investments, training and curated competency Partners to help mainframe customers accelerate benefits of cost reduction, business agility, resilience and data monetization. We are seeking an accomplished leader to help build out and execute a global Go To Market (GTM) Strategy for the AWS Mainframe Modernization Service. The GTM leader will report to the WW Mainframe Sales Director and shape and execute an exciting and ambitious plan to increase market awareness of the AWS Mainframe Modernization Service and influence the strategy of the AWS Mainframe Modernization business. The ideal candidate will possess a business background that enables them to build GTM plans across wide and complex geographies, manage a diverse stakeholder map, engage at the CXO level as well as understanding of the AWS Migration and Modernization methodologies and understanding of the mainframe market landscape. The candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, and the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions. Key job responsibilities The GTM leader will be a key role that works with and influences a wide range of stakeholders in AWS Services, Field Sales, Marketing, Partners and ProServe teams in order to drive business growth in mainframe modernization. Specifically, the GTM leader for AWS Mainframe Modernization service will be responsible for: 1. working backwards from business needs, define the goals of the GTM function in Partnership with the WW Mainframe Sales Director 2. shaping the messaging framework for the service in collaboration with the Service and Marketing teams 3. leading the development of market facing collateral that represents the Service, associated methodologies, consulting services, investments and partners within the context of desired customer outcomes 4. defining target markets and work with our Marketing team to develop and execute effective market targeting strategies 5. developing sales plays and associated collateral packages including battlecards for target markets and execute market awareness and lead generation campaigns in partnership with AWS Field Sales and Marketing teams 6. coordinating the development of webinars, labs, demos, chalktalks in partnership with the AWS Mainframe Specialist Sales and AWS Mainframe Modernization Service teams 7. creating an annual market, partner and customer engagement plan in partnership with the AWS Marketing and Partner teams and co-ordination of events in forums such as AWS Summits, re:Invent and Partner events 8. building analyst briefing packages in partnership with the AWS Analyst Relations and Marketing teams to increase awareness of the Service and reflect accurately the service in Analyst league tables and briefings 9. developing compelling packages for Executive Business Conversations (EBCs), co-branded Innovation sessions and Partner workshops for Mainframe Modernization, and train Specialist teams to deliver these workshops 10. gathering customer, partner, analyst and AWS field feedback to provide continuous feedback to internal teams and support the evolution of the Service and Sales efforts. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
