Essential Job functions/ Duties:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial and operation reporting (e.g. performance dashboards).
• Prepare and review monthly variance reporting (actuals versus budget, prior year or as otherwise requested).
• Assist in the preparation and review of Business Units’ budgets, forecasts and results of operations with Business Unit leads and management.
• Participate and contribute to ERP and system upgrades.
• Keep management abreast of the organization’s financial status.
• Conduct financial analyses, reconciliations and special projects requiring financial support as requested.
• Assist in management of capital projects, including ROI analysis and post-acquisitions reviews.
• Ensures that all processes are being followed by conducting periodic reviews amongst each Business Unit; Irrigation, Operation Centers, Post-Harvest and Pallet Plant.
• Ensures all reporting (as assigned) is prepared accurately, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principle, appropriate for the users and distributed timely.
• Maintain attitude of continuous improvement, making recommendations relative to enhancement of management reporting, dashboards and key business metrics as warranted by changes in management needs and business environment.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Certifications/Licenses, and Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; or equivelant work experience.
• Experience with manufacturing operations and familiarity with related accounting concepts (e.g. Inventory Costing, etc.).
• Minimum of five years Finance & Accounting; experience in an Agriculture business environment preferred.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• General understanding of US GAAP and general ledger operations.
• Strong background in using Microsoft Office software including advanced knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and Word functions.
• Solid interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload, multiple tasks, meet frequent and overlapping deadlines, and respond promptly and courteously to various customer requests.
• Strong organizational skills along with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
