The IT Business Systems Senior Analyst – MAPICS Financials plays a critical role in supporting users and business initiatives at selected REV sites. This IT Business Systems Senior Analyst (BSA) will work with users and business team members to optimize the usage of our existing Infor XA software. This position will work with our users to analyze and document current processes, ensure that these processes leverage the capabilities of the Infor XA software and train on Infor XA functionality. This role will also propose solutions to best meet the requirements of the business, which may result in using the Infor Enterprise Integrator toolset to fulfill these needs. This position will work with business users, vendors, consultants in various roles to design, implement and test changes and provide support. While this is a remote position, it is expected that this position will be actively involved with the business units and will require up to 30% travel to the business units. This position will also be required to potentially learn other bolt-on software integrated with Infor XA.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead activities in planning, gathering, defining, analyzing, categorizing, and documenting business, user, and functional requirements for work process automation, continuous improvement, implementation of new functionality, and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Facilitate the integration of technology into business operations with the goal of using technology to improve operations, data accuracy and/or efficiency.
  • Serve as a primary user resource to resolve questions around the XA software and its functionality. Provide training as required.
  • Analyze, design, and write functional specifications based on business requirements.
  • Regularly help in day-to-day resolution of the business/system/user issues. When required, work with users and the Infor Support line.
  • Assist in the selection, evaluation, training and deployment of new systems and software enhancements as required.
  • Serve as an XA expert to assist in deploying any corporate initiatives in the Business Units.
  • Assist in XA upgrades ensuring that all business units complete User Acceptance Testing prior to go-live. Serve as a post go-live resource to ensure smooth rollouts.
  • Ensure Data Integrity is maintained in the applications.
  • Adhere to project timelines, prioritize workload, effectively communicate project status, and discuss outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication across IT and Business Units.
  • Develop and assist in managing super user group (business users at sites) to make sure they are using the software to its fullest.
  • Assist programmers and programmer analysts in system acceptance testing and troubleshooting.
  • Assist users in the development of clear and user-friendly documentation to describe process and data flow and operating procedures. This documentation may take several forms including written instructions and ‘how to’ videos.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts: employees, functional consultants, and contractors who have varying levels of expertise.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Infor XA Release 9.1 and 9.2.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Integrator capabilities.
  • Knowledge of SystemLink ToolKit is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of the XA Powerlink interface is required.
  • Strong understanding of XA Financials specifically in the area of International Financial Management (IFM).
  • Strong knowledge of XA Accounts Payable, Receivable and cash processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IFM GL Interface..
  • Knowledgeable in XA financial month end and year end close processes
  • Strong knowledge of XA Costing including standard costs, cost rollups, variances etc.
  • Possess and have ability to apply knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).


Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience required.
  • 5+ years’ business analysis experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry,
  • 5+ years of Infor XA usage in a manufacturing environment.

  • Office work environment
  • Up to 30% travel to business units.
