Details:

PRN - Varied hours and shifts as needed for coverage on the unit (Mon-Fri)
-
Weekend rotation with 1-2 Saturdays per month and some Sundays to cover PTO
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing speech therapy to patients in the home environment and to act as a resource regarding speech therapy in the other disciplines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Master's degree from a recognized program in Speech Therapy.

Must possess current license to practice Speech Therapy in Oklahoma.
-
Ability to work with confused and aggressive patients.
-
Telephone and dependable transportation required.

Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Having and maintaining a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record is a condition of employment. Automobile liability insurance required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Able to work in a latex-burdened environment.
-
Able to lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderately heavy material, supplies or patients (up to or > 100 lbs.) occasionally.
-
Able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavyweight materials (over 100 lbs.) occasionally.
-
Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout the work schedule, with some bending and stooping.
-
Demonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete the necessary work schedule.

Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
-
Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
