Blazerworks, in partnership with a prestigious school district in La Porte, Indiana, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This is a full-time position with a caseload focused on 5th to 8th grade students. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess students' communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student success.
- Conduct therapy sessions to improve students' speech and language skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.
- Monitor student progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other team members to ensure effective collaboration and optimal student outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with current research, trends, and best practices in the field of speech language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Indiana.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, particularly with 5th to 8th grade students, is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility, creativity, and adaptability.
