We are looking for a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Arlington Heights, IL center pediatric therapy team!

Our kids are at the center of everything we do here at North Shore Pediatric Therapy! As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language services to children with a variety of communication and feeding disorders.

You will work closely with the child's support system to provide high-quality care according to current speech-language pathology best practices. Additionally, you will work with our interdisciplinary team to evaluate the whole child and develop individualized treatment plans and goals.

Your role as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Our interdisciplinary approach means that you will collaborate with other Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Mental Health Practitioners, Physical Therapists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and Neuropsychologists. As a member of our team, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose communication and feeding disorders
• Make appropriate cross referrals to other disciplines as needed
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for each client based on their unique needs and abilities
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to help clients improve their speech, language, social, and feeding skills.
• Educate families, staff, and the community on the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) to support a child's communication skills.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, such as doctors, teachers, and pediatric therapists, to ensure our clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care
• Keep detailed records of progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Our interview process

We care deeply about our teams and the people who make them up. Our interview process is designed to make you feel like you know us and are a good fit for our clients. The first step in our interview process is a video chat with a member of our recruiting team. We encourage you to use this as an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about NSPT and Gracent. From there, we will invite candidates to an in-person interview at the center with the Center Director and SLP team lead. You will meet members of our clinical team (your future co-workers!) and this interview will also include a clinic tour.
