Specialist - President's Office Job at Passaic County Community College
Overview of Position
We are seeking a Specialist who will be responsible for assisting the President as he plans and directs the functions of the College.
This is a part-time, hourly position.
Examples of Duties
- Assist the Director of Board Affairs with the preparation of the Board of Trustees agenda and supporting documents
- Serve, when assigned, as a representative on behalf of the President to those persons, committees, or community groups designated by the President
- Prepares for signature or perusal reports or materials the President many require
- When appropriate, receives faculty, staff, students, and visitors who come to see the President. Gives assistance with problems when possible
- Coordinates, with the Director of Board Affairs/Assistant to the President, the College's Records Management Systems
- Manages special projects as assigned
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred and at least five years appropriate experience
- Must be articulate and effective in speech, writing, and interpersonal relations
- Excellent computer skills required
