Interstates is growing, and we are currently seeking a Solutions Manufacturing Analytics Architect to join our team. Solutions Manufacturing Analytics Architect is a multi-skilled analyst who helps to estimate work, develops functional requirements into delivery scope and complete tasks to deliver the work. The Solutions Manufacturing Analytics Architect architects analytics-based software components, integrates data from multiple manufacturing systems, transforms data, develops analytical models for the data and visualizations for presentation. The Solutions Manufacturing Analytics Architect is the technical leader of the team, driving standards across various platforms, performing code review and testing before project completion, and advises Analytics Lead Developers and Analytics Manager of training requirements for other Analytics Developers.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving competency to drive performance results
  • Experience with data modeling and test data management tools
  • Hands-on experience in database design and development
  • Designs, codes, and tests new Analytics applications, including supporting applications and interfaces
  • Develops and tests infrastructure components in cloud and edge-level environments
  • Leverages containerization models and works with other teams or developers to keep the architecture current
  • Assists in the support and enhancement of applications
  • Writes high-quality code compliant with regulations and client standards
  • High level proficiency with the following technologies:
  • High-level programming
  • Python and R programming
  • SQL programming
  • Cloud data management
  • Manufacturing protocols
  • Experience with the following manufacturing systems:
  • PLC programming
  • HMI programming
  • Industrial networking
  • Historian data collection systems
  • Integrating plant-floor systems

Education and/or Experience:

  • 4-year degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field
  • 10+ years of Manufacturing or Operations experience

Travel: Travel will be required up to 35% of the time.

This individual can be located in Cinciinnati, OH, Omaha, NE, Sioux Falls, SD or Sioux Center, IA.
