Solar Installer Job at NM Solar Group
NM Solar Group is growing quickly throughout New Mexico and we are looking for a Solar Installer to join our team at our Alamogordo location. We are a premiere solar installer for residential and commercial solar projects in a fun environment. We are looking for hard workers that are willing to learn. We will train for this position.
Responsibilities
- Follow directions from Lead Installer and assist in each area of installation, when needed
- Be of sound mind and follow all safety measures
- Assist in the preparation of each jobsite
- Install solar racking, panels, and support structures in accordance with the approved plan set
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and ensure that jobsite is free from debris, trash, and all other items that install crew is responsible for
- Communicate and maintain good relationship with clients
Requirements
- Able to lift 40-80 pounds, bend, stretch, and kneel
- Comfortable with heights
- Basic knowledge of tools
- Valid drivers license with reliable transportation
- Clean driving record
- Adhere to all safety protocols
- Willing to work outside, with hot and cold weather, for long periods of time
- Willing to travel
