SierTek Ltd. is seeking a Junior Software Developer to support an opportunity at Wright Patterson AFB.


Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a Junior Software Developer with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


Essential Job Functions

  • Participate on a fast-paced team, building and maintaining mainframe software systems
  • Participate in meetings with customers to determine requirements for new features
  • Have active role in development projects throughout all phases of the software life cycle
  • Write and test well designed software using best practices
  • Create and maintain software documentation
  • Assess new initiatives to determine work effort and estimate time-to-completion
  • Use organization, communication, and troubleshooting skills to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the team's service to its customers by offering suggestions, recommendations, and participating as an active member of the team

Minimum Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field AND at least one year of professional experience in software development OR 3 years of software development experience.
  • Must be able to obtain a NACI (Tier 1) DoD Clearance.
