Apogee is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant located at MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), FL in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (AT&L).

What you will be doing:

  • Manage Directorate email with executive level messaging, as required.
  • Coordinate and schedule internal/external meetings, conference calls, video teleconferences, and events.
  • Manage travel, prepare travel itinerary, and provide meeting agendas, as required.
  • Provide continuity in Administrative Officer's absence.
  • Employ high-level proficiency in TMT, DTS, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint to manage Directorate administrative activities.
  • Plan and coordinate administrative functions and provide information, assistance and advice regarding official Directorate functions.
  • Act as interface for high-level military and governmental visits/matters regarding programs under congressional oversight.
  • Perform all office administrative duties at the O-6 level, including travel, calendar, meetings, phone calls, correspondence, and office supplies.
  • Conduct data calls and execute workflow tasks in enterprise systems.
  • Coordinate setup and execution of video teleconference (VTC) meetings in both open and secure environments.

What you will need to have:

  • Security Clearance Required: Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of Executive Administrative experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of office automation platforms
  • Ability to perform as part of a diverse team
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
  • Experience working with executive-level internal and external stakeholder organizations
  • Functional experience as a files and record management specialist at the executive level
  • Experience in written and verbal protocol at the senior executive level
  • Ability to quickly gain independent working proficiency in USSOCOM systems, including but not limited to, Forms 14, Defense Travel System (DTS), Task Management Tool (TMT), Share Point Portal, VTC procedures, and Meeting Scheduler

Benefits:

  • Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with a HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military and jury duty paid leaves. Regular part time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis.
  • This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
