JOB OVERVIEW

All-Star Sports Academy is searching for a highly motivated, creative, and forward-thinking social media coordinator is responsible for developing strategies to increase the engagement across social media platforms. In this role, you will outline a campaign calendar and conceptualize tactics to increase engagement and brand awareness. This individual will also represent ASSA’s voice, actively interacting with followers. The social media coordinator will collaborate with members of the marketing team, our facilities, teams, and coaches to create relevant content and interactive media experiences through the social sites. Social Media Coordinator will ensure deliverables meet ASSA’s marketing objectives and brand standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains ASSA’s social media accounts and layouts
  • Creates and implements a comprehensive social media editorial calendar to increase brand visibility and engagement across all platforms
  • Develops an optimal posting schedule by platform based on KPIs
  • Develops original content and suggests creative ways to reach more customers
  • Works closely with the Head of Marketing to ensure social media executions coincide with the overall departmental campaign strategy
  • Conceptualize tactics to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Analyzes weekly post performance reports to gain insights; utilizes this information to positively affect future outcomes/opportunities
  • Compiles usable insights based on social analytics to develop and/or improve monthly strategies to increase reach, engagement, traffic, and build awareness across social channels
  • Monitors all social platform interactions, responds when appropriate, and works closely with internal teams to ensure problem resolution
  • Ensures all content is being deployed according to schedule
  • Involved with supporting outside SEM partners with content needs for activation
  • Monitor and compiles user generated content and cross promotes
  • Provides well-defined optimization strategies for Social Media improvement
  • Experiments with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities
  • Develops and maintains a set of best practices and benchmarks for social postings
  • Partner cross-functionally (internal & external) with Creative, Operations, Sales, and Facilities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2-year experience, with professional experience digital or social media
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube)
  • Tech-savvy individual who is enthusiastic about social media and marketing
  • Familiarity with paid advertising experience across social channels
  • Ability to generate creative concepts for digital channels
  • Experience using social media management platforms – Sprout experience a plus.
  • Experience with web analytic platforms – google analytics, adobe, etc.
  • Knowledge of trends and technology influencing the digital social industry
  • Strong attention to detail; strategic mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan and organize
  • Confidence to bring forth ideas and challenge the status quo
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
