About the Role: We are looking for a Marketing Leader to join the SITKA® Gear Team who will build the multi-year marketing campaign strategy in alignment to the marketing roadmap. In this role you will support the optimization of acquisition and retention efforts for new and existing media types.

This position will be located at our Bozeman facility in Bozeman, Montana, with work from home days possible as part of a hybrid arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.*

Responsibilities:
  • Develop the multi-year marketing roadmap, including key strategic initiatives and investments
  • Set the annual and seasonal marketing strategies to strengthen the SITKA brand position, elevate the consumer experience and drive revenue through customer acquisition and retention
  • Align marketing and creative teams to deliver world-class product launches, and a continuous flow of editorial content that drives revenue and consumer loyalty
  • Lead the development of message distribution strategies, plans and key relationships, including earned media, direct mail, performance marketing, OOH, and email & social, to cultivate authentic consumer engagement while maximizing ROI
  • Guide seasonal marketing tactics for earned media, ambassadors and influencers, events, physical brick and mortar locations, and .Com & digital to ensure best in class execution
  • Lead the development of retention and acquisition plans and media placement including direct mail, OOH, and digital performance
  • Drive the cross-channel alignment of message distribution to ensure right message, at the right time; build, scale, and manage a highly productive and diverse marketing team inclusive of marketing planning, retention and acquisition, earned media/PR, events, ambassadors/influencers, conservation and ecosystem grants
  • Analyze seasonal marketing execution with the go-to-market teams: reviewing data, diagnosing opportunities and challenges, and developing actions
  • Drive a regular analysis of new and existing buyer behavior, purchase paths, product performance, and overall market share and market research for the brand
  • Build and manage the marketing budget to optimize message distribution tools and tactics for maximum ROI

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience leading marketing teams and overall marketing strategy
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with a +$300M B2C and B2B premium consumer brand
  • Experience in delivering and measuring KPIs from multi-channel strategies and investments
  • Creative thinker who can collaborate and articulate marketing strategies to cross-functional partners and leadership while distilling their feedback into action
  • Team builder, able to get the best out of individuals and unite cross-functional teams
  • Multi-faceted and innovative problem solver who can deliver and launch initiatives on time, on budget, and on strategy
  • At a minimum, a curiosity about hunting and the thoughtful hunter’s lifestyle
  • Strategic orientation with an ability to execute on the brand vision in a fast-paced, deadline driven, agile environment
  • Proven ability to build and manage a highly productive and functionally diverse marketing team
  • Ability to travel up to 15%

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. Locations not eligible for new remote work arrangements include: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
