BACKGROUND
The Army Cryptologic Office (ACO) serves as the Army G2 and Service Cryptologic Component (SCC) representative to provide expert cryptologic leadership, support, guidance and advice to U.S. Army Warfighters and Intelligence leaders. Lead the Army’s Cryptologic effort to satisfy Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) requirements by leveraging NSA Extended Enterprise, Intelligence Community, Sister Services and Service Laboratories. Ensure timely and effective support to operations by providing optimized capabilities, training and resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct SIGINT Threat analysis associated with overseas contingency operations and SIGINT gap analysis associated with military SIGINT capabilities modernization.
- Support SIGINT analysis and production by performing and managing tactical, operational, and strategic analyses.
- Research and integrate all source data to support FISINT/SIGINT Analysis
- Research reporting to produce predictive and timely finished intelligence products, coordinate all analytical products, and support national level organizations and theater staffs for dissemination across tactical, strategic, and operational environments.
- Employ research and analytic methodologies to ensure all-source information is appropriately considered, logically structured, and that rigor is applied to all analysis.
- Engage with appropriate organizations for intelligence support and collaborate and/or coordinate on externally generated production.
- Apply geospatial tools to support analytic production.
- Develop intelligence products that adhere to the ODNI ICD Tradecraft Standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience related to FISINT/SIGINT Analysis with at least a portion of the experience within the last 5 years
- Valid US Passport
ADDITIONAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE DESIRED
- Graduate of the 3810, 450 or 451 Signals Analysis Course Certification
- Graduate of the 4810 or 452 Signals Analysis Course Certification
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Senior
- Master's Degree and Twelve (12) years of experience related to FISINT/SIGINT Analysis with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
- Bachelor’s Degree and an additional five (5) years of related experience for a total of seventeen (17) years in lieu of a Master’s Degree
Mid Level
- Bachelor's Degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Eight (8) years of experience conducting FISINT/SIGINT analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Junior Level
- Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of experience conducting FISINT/SIGINT analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
- OR, an additional four (4) years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of seven (7) years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
