An Set-Up Technician performs maintenance work on agricultural equipment to the best ability to ensure customer satisfaction.
Position Summary:
Colby, Kansas American Implement location is actively seeking qualified and motivated Ag Set-Up Technicians with a passion for the agricultural industry. A great candidate is an individual who likes to problem-solve, is a continuous learner with a dedicated work ethic, and can present themselves in a professional, courteous and positive manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Wash and clean equipment and machinery prior to delivery to the customer.
2. Perform touch-up painting on equipment and machinery as necessary.
3. Follow production schedules and requirements for completion of assignments.
4. Prepare all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
5. Participate in all training programs as required by the Department Manager.
6. Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition and working order. Report any unsafe and inoperable tools, equipment, or vehicles to the Department Manager.
7. Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion.
8. Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
9. Provide professional and courteous service and present a positive and professional image of the company.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
