Responsibilities

  • This role will manage preparing and reviewing loan documentation while providing support to a variety of tasks related to the loan process. Activities will include independently processing and closing loans within a complex loans operation environment

  • Involved in providing day-to-day loan transactional processing which may include processing draw requests, processing refinance payments, performing loan reconciliations, reviewing line calculations

  • Direct interaction with Applicants, Existing Borrowers, Financial professionals (Advisors and/or Associates) and Life Insurance Carrier Customer Service representatives across multiple channels (inbound / outbound phone calls, email, chat) in order to disseminate or explain information

  • Makes evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information, and provides assistance in the implementation of loan documentation process improvements.

  • Minimizes risk to Inclined through increased knowledge of procedural requirements - understands and monitors errors to suggest solutions to reduce errors, and to adhere to audit and control policies. Often related, but not limited to loan documentation processes.

  • Responsible for escalating control gaps and issues to senior management. Identifies loan related control deficiencies and implements appropriate procedures and solutions to mitigate any risk or control losses

  • Creates, develops and maintains effective relationships with colleagues, management, internal/external clients and stakeholders, and seeks to understand their needs and provides solutions

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Inclined, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience within a financial planning firm; experience reviewing, processing, and servicing life insurance policies and familiarity with in-force documentation is a plus.

  • Sound knowledge of financial products, accounting principles and practices

  • High degree of numeracy, an analytical approach to tasks and problem solving skills are essential

  • Ability to understand complex data and condense into key themes

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Strong preference towards pacific time zone to best support external customers
