Department: Parking and Access Control

Hours: Full Time, 40 Hours/Week

Shift: First Shift, ( Preferred: Flexible schedule with the ability to support night and weekend shifts as needed)

Service Response Center - Manager of Operations , Day Shift, Parking and Access Control

UC Health is hiring a full-time Service Response Center - Manager of Operations for the Parking and Access Control Department.

The Service Response Center - Manager of Operations involves overseeing UC Health's 24/7 Service Response Center, which manages service requests received via phone and monitors fire/other critical alarms. Additionally, the Manager of Operations will be responsible for professionally managing and directing operational and strategic activities within the department, as assigned by the Senior Director. This position will effectively represent the needs of administration to directors/managers across the spectrum of operations, ensuring the delivery of a high level of service.

As the Service Response Center - Manager of Operations , you will have the privilege of leading a team that is essential to the 24/7 Service Response Center. Responsibilities
  • Performs day-to-day business functions for the Service Response Center, including but not limited to: Acting as a liaison and system navigator to various hospital stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Collaborates with finance, department directors, physicians, and other project stakeholders to develop imitative scopes, needs assessments, and scenario analyses in support of the Service Response Center at the direction of the Sr. Director.
  • Identifies operational areas of opportunity (e.g. contractor/vendor oversight, productivity assessments, variance reporting, etc.)
  • Maintains agreements and expedites agreement execution.
  • Works with department directors to establish purchase orders and approves invoices.
  • Assists with the Capital and Operational Budgeting processes.
  • Leads projects under the direction of the Sr. Director and ensures effective implementation(s).
  • Communicates process implementations and adjustments to leadership.
  • Conducts due diligence and expedites the information collection process in response to external reporting requests.
  • Provides supervision of associates and assists in the hiring, orientation, and training process.
  • Actively participates in staff development activities, educational initiatives, and intradepartmental projects.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to colleagues within the department.
  • Serves on various committees and task forces.


Qualifications
  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree - Business Related.
  • Preferred: 3 - 5 Years of equivalent experience.
  • Work hours will vary from time to time depending upon the needs of the business.
    • Flexible schedule with the ability to support night and weekend shifts as needed.
  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance is required for this position.
  • Travel to various UC Health hospitals and work locations as needed.

Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Demonstrated customer and communication skills.
  • An advanced understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Cognitive skills to calculate budgets and variances.
  • Ability to interpret contracts.
  • Advanced oral and written skills.
