Skysill Rooftop Lounge, at the brand new Westin Tempe hotel, is looking for a part time server who will serve guests utilizing excellent customer service skills to ensure total satisfaction.

Skysill Rooftop Lounge soars 18 stories above the city of Tempe as the Valley’s highest open-air rooftop bar. During the day, this chic venue offers a hip, relaxing daytime escape with its rooftop pool overlooking the vast Sonoran Desert. As the sun sets over the Arizona horizon, Skysill then transitions to a luxurious lounge where all levels of service and premium cocktails are elevated.

What will you be doing?

  • Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service manual
  • Do all necessary set-up sidework as assigned.
  • Answer any guest questions about the menu.
  • Operate the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system (where applicable).
  • Check food before serving it to guest to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

What experience do you need?

  • Must have the ability to communicate in English.
  • Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
  • Can communicate well with guests.
  • Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
  • Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move or push goods on a cart weighing a maximum of 100 lbs., at a continuous schedule.
  • Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30lbs.
